Adventures with Edward: Edward takes up a hobby

Setting: living room of the human

One night, Edward wanders over to a stash of yarn.  Standing amidst all the yarn, Edward decides he needs a hobby.

Looking around, Edward grabs the first needles he can find and some yarn.  He chooses a very manly color.

Poor Edward.  Those needles are much too big for him.  Unless he wants to do the javelin.

Hunting around, Edward finds something more his size.

Ever so carefully, Edward begins his project.  He weilds his toothpick knitting needles like a champ, whipping that embroidery floss into submission.

Quicker than you can say “Vampire Dolls Make Knitting Cool”, Edward finishes his creation.  He models his scarf and wonders if Bella Doll will look at him with new plastic eyes.

Either way, he feels stylin.

  1. He looks very hawt with his little teeny tiny scarf on. I think he needs his own Etsy shop. Or would it be an Edsy shop???

  2. I am totally telling myself that he knitted that scarf, over and over, and it’s working. I am totally amazed and freaked out. His toothpick skilz are the shiz. He might have a future in dentistry too, possibly…

When did “mauve wine” become a manly color, btw? 😉

What I want to know is, why Edward, being the man’s man that he is, would choose knitting when there are so many interesting books right behind him that would provide a more stimulating interaction. “The Measure of a Man”, I ask you?

    • I was just thinking that very same thing! “The Measure of a Man”, “Quest for Love”, “Dare to Discipline”…..all very interesting back drops for a knitting vampire doll, ya know? Of course, I am old enough to remember that NFL-er Rosie (Rosy?) Greer did fine needlepoint & peti-point pillows for fun and relaxation. Guess stalking people before drinking their blood would be kind of stressful, and knitting might be kind of relaxing. Doesn’t Edward every worry though, about those sharp, steak-thu-the-heart looking ‘knitting needles’ he’s using? One false knit one-purle two and it could be curtians for him!

  7. You are the only person in the world that gets to own and use an Edward Cullen doll without my right eyebrow involuntarily judging you.

  8. I thought you were just being a smart mouth when you said you were knitting with toothpicks. My bad.

  11. Edward. You look amazing in a scarf. I’d like you to come on over and teach me to knit.

Kearsie! You must have super fingers. There’s no way my little smokey sausage fingers would EVER be able to knit with toothpicks, let alone knitting stick thingers. HERO!

  17. I think Edward needs to knit himself a man bag. You know, like a big diaper bag kind of looking thing with a strap so he can wear it over his chest in a manly fashion.
